Think that is bad, check out the pop settings "When messages are accessed with POP" I select "delete gmails copy" and find that when accessing it via mail.app (where I setup 'delete off server after downloading') the server copy is deleted but nothing is download to my computer - a good number of emails suddenly vanish off the face of the earth. And it also doesn't fix the problem - I used to access a gmail account through imap and found that when I deleted files it only used to tag them but never actually delete them off the server - in other words gmail have majorly stuffed up implementing imap.
